Official Response to H20's Disqualification

Unread postby Demonoid » Sat Nov 23, 2013 11:46 pm

The decision to disqualify a player is never an easy one.

Only in the worst of circumstances will we disqualify a player, especially in the later rounds. In this situation, H20 had been warned multiple times for other infractions of the rules, so before the semis round even started, he was operating on thin ice.

The official statement about the disqualification starts below.

The game was ready to start, but H20 did not want Chicks to cast the games. However, Section 7 of the rules state that “B. If a selected match is not streamed; the completed match will deem invalid, no points will be awarded. Unless specified by a member of the tournament staff…G. The players in these matches will be required to schedule their matches with their opponents and with the authorized casters.”

Under Section 8, the only authorized casters are here:
8. Authorized Commentators
L. Interjection
M. Chicks

H20 had the opportunity to play the games, but refused to. In terms of lag, Chicks agreed to take out the casting team from the game if there was lag. However, H20 did not even allow the games to start to see if there was any lag. The rules state that the administration will test for lag before the games start. H20 agreed the rules at the start of the tournament, and then did not follow the rules. Therefore, he was disqualified. Please write any questions or comments below.

The official rules of the tournament can be found here: http://pkclan.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4169

I find this hilarious!!! U guys are good at lying!! U disqualified him pretty easy don't you think? H2O didn't want CHICKS THE LAGGER to cast, im sure he didn't give a crap of someone else like the OP VENI to stream! AND THE RULES YOU STATED EXPLAIN THAT CHICKS CAN COMMENTATE BUT NOT CAST THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZUTAZUTA was streaming and he can perfectly commentate ALONE and there would be no problem, but chicks is a doche and thinks HE has to commentate when he sucks at it!

I feel that you are misunderstanding what happened. There are two observers in a game. The caster, the person whose computer is streaming the game, and who may or may not commentate on the game. The other person is the commentator, the person who gives the play by play on the game. Chicks was not a caster, but rather a commentator. Zuta was not authorized to cast the games specifically in the semifinals. Also, the constant flaming is not going to make the conversation any easier to have.

He did want to start with an authorized caster ? The one that lagged less ?

Is there a response as to why the game could not go ahead with zuta casting ? because this is the key point, yet all pk admins ignoring this point because there is no decent response to it ...

Isnt there a way to get the games played somehow? Talk with h2o again or something like that.. idk

And if not, i think nagayumi should at least replace him.
