Resolution

Unread postby Gropes » Thu Dec 06, 2012 9:08 pm

So Halt installed Aoe2 for me to my amazement at how quick he did it. But just one question. I had the same issue with my resolution being off for age of mythology. And simply changing it does not work. I had to download a custom resolution changer. Did anyone ever make a custom resolution changer for AoE2? If not any other ideas on what i can do?

There is a custom resolution thingy that some Voobly AoC players use, but then, the mini-map is moved away from the bottom-right SE corner of the screen.

Go into options and change resolution there to 1024 x 800 or something like that.

AoC has 3 settings: 800*600, 1024*768, and 1280*1024. 1280*1024 does not look too shabby on my 1680*1050 monitor. However, it's the 1024*768 on the 1366*768, 1440*900, 1280*800, etc. laptop monitors that really sucks.

My 1280x1024 auto-stretches on my 1680x1050 in order to resolve my resolution and screening process.

I have no idea why some games auto-stretch and other games do not.
